Scallop Umbrella Hire - Euro Inspired Umbrella (VIC Only)

Each umbrella hire includes:

• 1 x 3m Octagonal outdoor market umbrella with scalloped edge
• 1 x 25kg umbrella base (metal, screw fastened to secure umbrella pole)
• 1 x 40kg circular sandbag weight (to total 65kg with umbrella base)
• 1 x fastening string (to be securely tied from umbrella to base)
• Hire agreement

Details:

• Hire periods are 1-2 days (if pick up is required following day.)
• Please note an additional fee will be charged for damaged umbrellas, or late returns.
• Each umbrella is $100 to hire. The price shown when you select your number of umbrellas and delivery location already includes the applicable delivery and collection fee — no additional delivery fee will be added at checkout.
• Please contact us to ensure your date is available, and we're able to deliver to your location.

Delivery and set up:

• Delivery is calculated based on distance from our Aspendale Gardens HQ.
• $160 - within 10km
• $260 - 10 - 20km
• $360 - 20 - 30km
• 30km+ - Price on application. Please contact us before booking. For locations more than 30km from Aspendale Gardens, the price displayed online is indicative only and your booking is not confirmed until we have approved your location and provided a final delivery quote.
• Delivery and collection post-event will be arranged with each booking. We will always do our best to work around your schedule.

• Pick up and drop off at Aspendale Gardens, VIC can be arranged upon request.

The Hiree agrees to:

• Ensure the umbrella is set up on level ground only, with the pole securely fastened using the screw on the base.
• Ensure the 40kg sandbag is fitted around the base at all times during use.
• Secure the umbrella string to the base or pole to prevent uplift.
• Continuously monitor weather conditions and take down the umbrella immediately if:
  • Winds reach 20 knots (37 km/h), and/or
  • The umbrella begins to sway, lift, or tilt, (even if winds do not reach 20 knots) or
  • Rain or storms are forecast.
• Never use the umbrella in windy, stormy, or unsafe weather conditions.
• Never use the umbrella in any unsafe conditions, even those not mentioned.
• Keep children, and vulnerable away from the umbrella at all times.
• Ensure the umbrella is safely disassembled if there are intoxicated person/persons  around
• Never lift or move the umbrella by the canopy. Always lower it and lift from the  pole.
• Ensure any attempt to move the umbrella is done so only in emergencies and only by those physical able, using proper lifting techniques.
• Ensure the umbrella is always supervised when erected.
• The Hiree must make a sound judgment at all times when hiring the umbrella, even  for reasons not listed on this document.
• It is the Hirees responsibility to keep their property, people safe, as well as the  protection of the umbrella
• Make a reasonable and sound judgment as to if the umbrella can be safely set up  and remain safely set up for the duration of the event, and continue to monitor this if conditions change.
